Now that Yahoo co-founder and CEO Jerry Yang has finally stepped aside, removing what many (including Ballmer himself) saw as one of the main barriers to bringing the two companies together, Microsoft should re-ignite acquisition talks with the company. But that’s not the only reason. There are plenty of other good ones why it should do so - and why Yahoo should accept. (full story below)

Would you sell Yahoo this time if you were owner of Yahoo?

Sell sell sell! Then we can watch the Microsoft vs Google war begin...in my opinion, competition in the tech arena is healthy and can only promote better technology and a better user experience for everyone.

Calvin L: Wrong Again; Yahoo has done exceedingly well on its own in the past and should continue to trek forward solo!

Yes!! if MS offers more than $25 (I believe MS will not offer $31 again).

No!! if it's less than $20.

Between $20 and $25, well.... let me think more.

Microsoft should definitely offer again at this point. But if I were yahoo? I wouldn't sell. But that's just because I would like to own everything ;)

But the best option here would be yahoo selling at a reasonable price. Otherwise its not going to keep up in the long run.

I definitely think MS should offer again since Yahoo! is a much better deal now.

But if I was Yahoo!, I wouldn't accept anything under $20/share. If they offered more, then it would depend on what Yahoo!'s plan is for getting back in the game.
